Altucher Destroys The 401k

Man...what happened to this guy? He comes off as a real pissed off mad at the world type. Years ago I read his "Trade like a hedge fund" book. I actually thought it was good. But the last few times I have read something about him he comes off as a whiner. Always complaining. He comes across as one of those guys who made money trading during the easy times of the late 90's....then when things got tougher he failed and now says nobody can do it.

Takes a shot at you Surf......trashing financial journalists.

I hung out with Altucher at his first fund subway capital. Long before he was famous. And we have worked on several VC deals together-- nothing ever came from them. But he is super connected. Kind of guy who can get yassar arafat and soros on a conference call.

We both had a crush on the same girl--- yes. Trade like a hedge fund is a great book. VN blames him for stealing some of his research for the book-- so its good stuff. Lol!

He's doing his EMO Writing thing now. Not sure why. i jokingly call him the morrisey of finance.

I'm not a big fan of Altucher -- he does come across as a 90's stock trader living in the past all jaded...who sounds like he lost his money in the crash...and all he does is bitch and moan now.

I can't! She's rather well known now in a good way. I got several dates with her not sure how JA fared. Lol

Yeah, altucher is not for everyone. But be thst as it may, he's a great writer.

The guy who I traded for at the fund (VN fan) told me about Altucher's book at the time. I thought there was some very good info there. I liked reading the guy's stuff back then. But he really seemed to change his tone and now comes across as pissed at the world. His whole whining about how nobody can make money trading anymore is a bit much.

If he can get Arafat on the phone now that would be something.
