Althucher guesses: trend funds to disappear within the next 10 years...

What an insipidly moronic premise. I find it akin to the people that wanted to close the patent office in the 1890's " because everything possible had been invented". The arrogance is overwhelming. There they were , standing on the precipice of the greatest technological leaps forward in human history and percieved none of it. The seeds are already sown, the bull market of the late 90's will pale in comparison to what is coming. We , humans are one iteration away from animal power, the horse to the internal combustion engine and some one thinks that's all there is? The barely imaginable technological expansion is upon us and our children, an entire world with screens, newly aquired funds, and the same greed that will be born into us untill we are no more will be betting on it as it transpires. Those shitty little return to the mean black boxes will keep the unperceptive in potato chips while the aware cognicenti enjoy the au gratin of the wealth produced by the trends as "beam me up Scotty" becomes real.

I understand your point and this is off topic: the best guitar riffs in the world have already been invented. Millions of people have played guitar for decades and there may never be another riff comparable to the best of classic rock. Many other art forms are dying a slow death also.

No I have not. I will check him out though. I meant electric guitar. Riffs are not the only issue. The taboos have all been broken a million different ways.
