Alternatives to proofs of physical address

Travelers, boaters, RVers, US expats - what address do you provide to your broker, if you don't have a physical US address, and how do you prove it?

I've been using a virtual mail service to accept my mail so I can read it online from wherever I am, and my US broker has been fine with it for years under CIP regulations, until now when they detected it was a Commercial Mail Receiving Agencies, and demanded proof of physical address such as utility bill or rental agreement or mortgage.

Nomads don't have any of these proofs of address. What are they supposed to provide?

Would an Airbnb/hotel booking from a foreign country jeopardize the status of the account?

(ii) for an individual who does not have a residential or business street address, an Army Post Office (APO) or Fleet Post Office (FPO) box number, or the residential or business street address of a next of kin or another contact individual; or
So, it might be good enough to use someone else's address and their utility bill.
