Alternatives to E-signal

I thought I would start a thread where the scope of discussion would be a concise comparison of chart providers

I share the sentiment of those in the problem thread, if e-signal were cheaper, it wouldnt be that big of a deal. But for what they charge me each and every month, too many glitches. Their lack of backups is a choice

i am happy with qcharts. i cant remember the last time they went down. i recently opened an account at tradestation as a test but i am still using qcharts for my charting because i love the charts.

Ensign charts at $39.99/month with free interactive brokers market data (IB charges $10/month if $30 commissions are not generated). I am happy with the combo so far...

how's the feed? some time ago people were complaining that it was inaccurate, lagged during volume spikes, etc. Is it working fine now?

i dont notice anything major but i am not a scalper. my delay times generally run .20-.70 of a second during the day. no complaints here.

Both www.prorealtime.com and www.iqfeed.net and tradestation 8.1 (free with $5K funding) are good alternative to eSignal, in range of $50/monthly

TS2000i is also compatiable with IQfeed (it's not mentioned
in above link, ask Live support for it)

Their strong point is that you don't need to pay eSignal
data feed setup fee ($59+$25 furture add-ons) anymore

I've used ReakTick for 9 years for stock trading (actually, just their data, via TALDDE and their API). A couple of months ago I decided to start trading index futures as well, so I added CME data to my subscription and began using the RealTick charts for the first time. So far, I've been very pleased with this setup and haven't had any outages.

sierra + mytrack + exchange feed - $60/m, real time all eminis, cash indexs, some forex.

probably worth people noting if they use data for futures or stocks (name exchange)

some of the cheapo guys dont provide back fills, past data or continuous contract listings.
