Just as a follow up for anyone who might come across this post, I have been using Quotetracker, which is free, with some small ads, which you won't likely notice. Just $7.00 a month to remove the ads. It's a very good basic charting program, and glitch free, which must use data from another provider. They have a relationship with certain brokerage firms, so if you trade with one of these firms you can use their trade data to create your quotes, avoiding paying monthly feed and exchange fees. It works fine if you trust your broker's feed. I use MB Trading, use their data, and it is reliable enough about 99% of the time. Of course, you can also use it with a data provider, such as IQFeed, and still save some bucks.
