Was just looking at the following:
http://arduino.cc/
...and wondered if there was anyone out there that was using alternatives to mice/keyboard/monitor for input and feedback for their discretionary or automated trading?
Just curious to see how creative people have got. Whether it's simple novel USB feedback devices such as:
Nabaztag: www.nabaztag.com
or
Chapit: http://www.raytron.co.jp/chapit/index.html
Or whether you're employing more sophisticated input mechanisms such as:
Microsoft Surface Computing: http://www.microsoft.com/surface/
Or if there's anything like the Wii controller etc.
Anyone using X10 or other home automation technologies in connection with their trading?
It would be quite interesting if you could translate price action into some kind of physical stimuli or have it manifest in some tactile way that the trader could then respond to using novel input mechanisms.
Just curious...
