OK, now it is confirmed!

The American government is desperate in opening communication channels with the Sunni And Baathi resistance.

Due to the American inelegance inability to reach the depth of the Sunni and Baathi resistance, the following attempts were made (All Confirmed);

1- US government asked for the help of some Arab neighboring states to open communication channels with the resistance to relay the message that the American forces are willing to agree on a time table for the American withdrawal after the next Iraqi general elections.

2- the Kurd leadership were asked to try to relay the same message to the Sunni resistance, the Kurds failed miserably.

3- another attempt was made to tempt, through generous incentives, Sheik Sattam Al Qaoud (One of the top Sunni tribal figures in Iraq) who is now in an American prison to mediate between the Americans and the Sunni resistance.

4- another attempt is being worked out to arrange a meeting, in the early days of August, with Saddam Husain and Ramzi Clarke as well as a well known lawyer by the name of either Chrits or Chriss Dowbler (Not sure about the spilling) who has personal contacts with Raghd, Saddam Housain's daughter.

5- confirmed information, through Saddam's lawyer, Mr. Al Daliemy, that Saddam is so far refusing to meet with any representative from the American side including Mr. Clarke.

6- The Americans succeeded in opening a communication channel with Saddam's daughter, Raghd with the proposal of freeing Saddam Housain and giving her a role in any political make-up in the next general elections.

7- The Americans went as far as proposing allowing Shiek Majeed Al Qaoud (Another one) to create another committee to substitute "Isnad" to lead Saddam's defense.

8- The Americans approached the Egyptians to try to establish a communication Channel in the depth of the Iraqi resistance. That venture was spearheaded by the Egyptian diplomat who was sent to feel for the prospect of a meeting with the resistance and somehow succeeded until he was kidnapped and we all know what happened afterward.

9- another failed attempt was made through the ex-Iraqi defense minister, Mr. Sa'adoun Al Daliemy to try to reachout to the Iraqi Sunni tribes to try to convince them to allow all of the Sunni and Baathi elements to return to reinstate the "Darak" andd "Magaweer" forces.

10- Jordan was involved to reach out to the Sunni tribes who reside across both countries, they even went as far as assigning one of their ministers with the Sunni and Baathi file due to their historical and tribal relations with the Sunni tribes and members of the Baath Party.
