Hell man, don't stop now, lol. You've been at this a while.
If a new trader wants to look into short term day trading options with a small account,
what are a couple of good ways to plan for exiting those trades if stop and target prices are part of the plan?

Let's use an example from the link below:
Exiting with a profit of 100% would mean selling the January 80 call for $6. If the price were to increase to more than $6, you’d get your original $3 back, plus $3 more, for a 100% return (minus transaction costs). Exiting the trade with a 50% loss would mean selling the call if it drops to $1.50, which is half of the entry price.

Trendlines are created by algos and can be broken at anytime. His strategy is too simple and has flaws.
Duly noted. Thank you.
If you ever do find a youtube trader that shows or reviews their trades as they unfold,
post those bad boys up right here, baby.

I don't know of many who show their trades live.

Most of the youtubers use hindsight charting to connect the dots to lure new traders into believing it's that simple.

Or they will show you their trades after being up 10-20 handles. Which leaves one to wonder if they're aren't just showing winners & hiding losers.

GIVEN: Youtube traders are no more likely to be honest than your average politician.
Where there is money and people, there is deceit and fraud.
Buyer beware.

Yet, there are those vids out there that present informative demonstrations. Are they perfect? Nope.
Might the vids if well chosen have some value to day traders that will be appreciated? Yep.
Don't day trade? Don't like the vids posted in good faith in this thread? There's a non-disruptive solution for that, lol. Either find one that fits the purpose and post that or go visit a thread that suits you better.

If we can get this thread started with less interruption from the restating the obvious by
everybody and his dog and keep it down to Those select vids, that'll be pretty cool.
Shyster and Huckster youtube traders exist. You're bloody well right, holmes.
