What people on both sides of the issue seem not to understand is that the planet couldn't care less what we think. The planet couldn't care less what we do. Because the planet couldn't care less if mankind survives. The planet in fact would be a lot happier if we were to disappear.

Actually the barrier islands on the North Carolina continually roll back every year. This has gone on for centuries and is not due to global warming but normal wave and tide action.

North Carolina is not complaining about the erosion of our shore line due to global warming. In fact as someone else noted it is illegal in our state to cite global warming in beach front projections - because all the global warming data has been found to be totally fabricated. If you would have believed the reports of the alarmist every structure on our coastline would have been under a meter of water back in 2008.

This makes me laugh. This is obviously a beach that is continually re nourished with sand - which is regularly washed out by tides and wave action. Obviously not due to global warming. If the water level was rising as alarmists claim many beach front structures on these islands would be underwater - we are not seeing this happen at all.

You may be right, but there is nothing obvious about it. Rising sea levels, for whatever reason, would explain it just as well.
