Honestly, you come across as a complete amateur - especially here with your opening post saying quantitative trading is the same as chart trading. LOL, LOL, LOL.

I have already told you but you can't read a chart lol. The answer is right in front of your face...

btw you aren't a quant. There is no such thing as a retail quant. At best you may run an algo, but since you can't read a chart you are basically just automating bad trades. So you and Tao better brush up on your chart reading skills. :)

WXy is not a trader,and thats not necessarily an insult. Though in his case it is :)

He is still at the stage where he can NOT take a loss nor admit he was wrong.
Hence he doesnt use Stops..Instead,he averages down..Very odd for someone who brags about the precision of the Elliot Wave.

He also doesnt believe in long Gamma,only Short. Not a criminal offense,but very telling in his case and the precision of the Elliot Wave.

Heres the "thing".. His analysis may be OK,but his implemetation is trash,he knows it and that is why he trades so small...He cant be wrong,so he may project a level of support in advance,but when it gets blown thru,he calls it a buying opportunity and averages down...

Hes either a noob,an individual incapable of learning,or most likely someone who dabbles for shits and giggles.

If you want to demonstrate the validity of your approach, you tell us plainly with no ifs and buts.

Looking at a chart and guessing where price may or may not go is not trading. In directional trading, you actually have to place a trade and manage it (take profits or exit when you're wrong).

In simplicity, trading authors will show us that the market bottomed out on a double bottom at this or that Fib retracement. However, they'll also ignore the 5 prior double bottoms which failed and the other minor retracements which failed (but would have been celebrated if not).

First of all, I don't only use EW when making trading decisions. Think of it like a ufc fighter today...you have to be knowledgeable in all styles. I have already explained the concept of averaging down to you multiple times but you can't seem to grasp it. I even gave an example of the WORST CASE SCENARIO with averaging down SPY after getting in at the highs pre collapse, and that still proved averaging down would have resulted it x5 pnl if you held today. Obviously if you are buying into an extended rally your TA is questionable, so I DEFINATELY don't recommend this strategy for you guys.

My problem with long gamma as you put it is that BS prices wrong relative to expected move as I showed in the related topics...thus I'll just take the premium thanks.

I'm trading small lots with a mechanical strategy I am using for income. It is working as proof with CLSK. :)

And once again, stops only help you intraday....and you don't get a (2008) Lambo trading small. :)

I use some of the $3500 I made in a few weeks in the ES and NQ futures market GUESSING and GAMBLING and clicking the buy and sell button to fill up the gas tank on 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle BIG BLOCK engine, to hit he streets cruising with women who want to have some fun.

Do you think these women give a damn about some damn algo and quant trader? NO

Algo and quant trading systems = SCAM and LIE. No one making money with this. And anyone who is doing this type of trading in drawdown begging for to get out of drawdown and not paying the bills and having fun in the life.

People was waving at me asking to race and saying how much they like my car. I did not have time to talk to them.

hurry up 8:30am central so I can trade the NQ and ES guessing allllll day long.

I never read a trading book in my life, and I NEVER will and still making money in the futures market.


I trade ONLY to get rich Quickly in the ES and NQ futures, there is no other reason on earth to trade the ES and NQ futures market if the goal is not to be rich within 1 year.

No silly ass quant trading system is going to do that for me. My black ass be in drawdown all damn year playing that crap, just like last year. Waste of freaking time.

Duh..EW is what got me the Lambo in the first place! :) That and common sense and being able to see what other people weren't seeing.
