Th Daily Telegraph is one of the most respected newspapers in the world, not a tabloid. The writer of that article is also very highly regarded in economic journalism.

Your comment of how things should be run smacks of something the fuhrer would say.

All this together with your previous posts demonstrate that you are just an ignorant, facist, sour Kraut racist bigot.

@luisHK, I bring it up because the OP has posted several articles that were written by individuals that hedge anti-German sentiment and represent specific Jewish organizations that look for every last opportunity to convince the world that Germany is not to be trusted on the mere grounds of past holocaust transgressions. Each time a party is needed to join anti-German sentiment they are volunteering and are happy to fill the void. Of course I do not generalize and I never said that Jews in general harbor anti-German sentiment. But at a point in past pages it became apparent that OP had a motivation to introduce such extremists into the equation and hence my rebuttal.

So far off the mark that it is a wonder you are the same species as the rest of us. I had no motivation whatsoever to introduce any racial or nationalistic extremism, merely to point out that someone finally recognized/acknowledged (Tsipras) that more debt cannot solve a debt problem.

To you (volpunter), any criticism whatsoever of Germany is a barbarian attack at the gates and must be squelched and nullified by whatever venom you can froth out. Anyone who has the unmitigated gall to criticize Germany hates Germans and must be discounted. Any news article pointing any flaw in German logic or behavior is instantly a rag or tabloid, and the author a German hater or must be Jewish backed. No opposing views can be tolerated. One need only go back and re-read the thread to see how open you are to anyone who differs from your perspective.

You're pretty much the only author of ad hom attacks, profanity laced insults, putting people on ignore, etc. in this thread.

In addition, your Canadian author in one of your links is Jew and harbored so much hatred towards Germans and Germany that even a 5 year old could get that impression after the first paragraph. You can look him up and figure out very quickly that he represents and is financially backed by a Jewish lobby group that harbors very expressive anger towards Germany. What can I say? You never admitted your tourism facts were completely off the charts, do you now say I make up stories as well? Oh, regarding "putting anyone on ignore", I decided to see what you have to say because another poster was correct in saying that it is hard to follow when ignoring some of the most frequent posters. That plus the impression that in some of your posts some sense came to you in regards to a more balanced view so I am curious what you had to say. Of course you can belittle me for that. A couple of years ago Germany was one of the only if not the only (would need to Google it) european country where jewish immigration was superior to jewish emigration.
Volpunter, you might have a point about The Telegraph, and per se i don't mind too much racism as it's a very common occurrence worldwide, but it's worth of note while you praise Germany for having one of the less racist and nationalist population around (which might be true), you don't really impersonate those qualities (if they are qualities) to those reading you.
Oh, and Visaria definetely reeks of antigerman sentiment.

As for my "tourism facts", I admitted several times that the article used apparently was inaccurate regarding the top 5 destinations. If you're too obtuse to see the posts I made on the subject, that certainly isn't my fault. Again, it doesn't change the argument that Europeans still go on holiday to places outside Shengen - which was entirely the point.

And yes, I have no issue to make fun of and belittle a nation when the majority of its people vote for a continued membership in the Eurozone and EMU and the same majority backs a government that pushes the country out of the EMU. I have not lived in Germany for more than half my life and I can smile and laugh about inherent German traits that are indeed funny and make others smirk. But I get riled up when I hear the laziest nation in Europe pointing their fingers at Germany and accusing it that it does not do enough to save their lazy asses. I would get exactly riled up in the same way if that finger pointed to any other nation that has displayed a great deal of assistance, accommodation, support, and understanding and is accused of not doing enough. In that I do not think I am racist, I just take issue with bullshit, regardless of origin.

It would appear the un-sourced rumors of Greek banks having used up their Emergency line of credit with the ECB are true. Following a hastily put together conference calls this morning:

• *ECB RAISES GREECE ELA ALLOWANCE TO EU65BN: FAZ

Up from the previous EUR59.5 Billion. It appears the stealth bank run in Greece is showing no signs of slowing.

As Reuters repiorted yesterday,

The ECB moved Greek banks onto ELA last week after it ended a waiver on the quality of the nation’s debt it acceptsas collateral amid doubts that the newly elected government will conclude its aid program.

Greek banks have almost exhausted the 59.5 billion euros granted by the ECB, Skai Television reported yesterday, without saying how it got the information.

And so today, as Bloomberg reports,

*ECB DECIDED ON GREEK ELA ALLOWANCE IN TELEPHONE CONFERENCE: FAZ

The ECB’s Governing Council held a phone conference Thursday to raise the allowance for the Greek central bank to provide Emergency Liquidity Assistance by 5 billion euros, FAZ reports, without saying where it got the information.
