I think another Trump administration would bring the country to full banana.

How could Trump do that? The legislature can always impeach a president. So it would be silly to make him out as the root of all evil.

And he, like you, wants to redecorate with a sledgehammer.

You're playing a bit fast and loose w/ the analogies for my taste, we'll have to agree to disagree on this. Which, it appears, proves my point.

Or, perhaps, disproves yours by contradiction... because now you don't want to redecorate at all, whereas before... you were quite happy w/ AOC's machinations(1).

Not to mention, redecoration and rebuilding are different things. For better or worse, the analogies can only go so far.
