Trader, Brandonf is exactly right. Go back and study how Hitler came to power, and compare the similarities of that period to the similarities of now. There is a striking resemblence between now and then. And while you're at it, do a little researach on Rahm Emanuel's Civil Service plan and compare that to what the Nazi's did.

I think at the very top you'd find that Genocide is motivated by the desire for money and power.
The leaders of the movements realize that they can easily whip the masses up into a frenzy if they give them a common point of focus (hate). In doing so they become powerful and rich, but near the top I dont think they really care a lot for the "idiological purity" of the cause.

I'm still waiting for some hard evidence that shows six million Jews were actually exterminated. The real number is likely significantly less than that.
Most Jews will continue to use the Holocaust as an opportunity to gain public sympathy just as blacks continue to use slavery. Never mind the fact that just about every ethic group that exists on this planet was enslaved or persecuted at some point in human history.
