Alex Jones, the far right-wing conspiracy theorist and protein-powder salesman who has long been a political ally of President Donald Trump, has found impeachable evidence Las Vegas mass shooter Stephen Paddock was a liberal.

That evidence? Paddock drank Pepsi.

This revelation came when Jones was interviewing Tony Shaffer, a former Army colonel perhaps best known for making a contested claim to having been present in the White House Situation Room watching the Benghazi attack in real time.

As Shaffer began discussing the background of Las Vegas mass shooter Stephen Paddock, he mentioned that Paddock's previous work with the IRS was a "clue" to his motives.

"He drank Pepsi!" Jones chimed in. "And yet liberals. I mean literally, conservatives do not drink — especially in the Obama era — conservatives drink Coca-Cola, if you drink soft drinks, liberals drink Pepsi. Now that's a big clue!"

American Radio show host and conspiracy theorist, Alex Jones, in the Nov. 27 edition of “The Alex Jones Show” has claimed that the Las Vegas shooting was as phony as former President Barack Obama’s birth certificate.


Jones was speaking to a caller on the show when he described the Las Vegas massacre to be fake. Read the transcript of the call here which was obtained from Media Matters for America.

ALEX JONES (HOST): Well I know the FBI went and picked up the caller you heard earlier when he talked about it being an Islamic attack and there were shootings all over town and helicopters being used. And the FBI showed up and drugged the guy and then declared national security. He’s had to leave the country just over that, so do you think they’d be having the FBI at his house in two hours after he called in about that if it was just a rumor? No, they don’t want that discussed. So Vegas is as phony as a three dollar bill or as Obama’s birth certificate.

CALLER: Wow.

JONES: Isn’t that crazy?

CALLER: That is so crazy, so many people died --

JONES: They had the Saudi military was having a convention there that week.

CALLER: Yeah, because I remember the most I’ve heard is what you’ve gone over and the other guy that had some so much research into all the planes that had changed where they were --

JONES: Sure, well the FBI showed up and they told him, they said, “You talk about that again, we’re going to put you in prison because that’s classified information.” Even though he’d figured it out himself. The fact is the government, the military all know. They’ve been ordered not talk about it because it’s all part of this deal that Trump’s got with the Saudis. We’ll see if that’s really the case, but that was an Islamic terror attack from all the evidence we have.

Jones also tweeted on his official page on Nov. 28 asking people to cast their votes for "Fake News Awards". In the list of options that the listeners could choose from, Las Vegas mass shooting was also included. Jones also ensured his listeners that he would announce the results on the Nov. 28 edition of the show.
 
Getting comparative data on mental illness in the US vs other countries is not so easy. What is certain is Jones is making it a lot worse for the extreme crazies. While people with depression are drawn to watch too much news, Alex Jones is possibly too fucked up even for Flat Earthers.

If I was a Sandy Hook parent or someone affected by LV, I would want Jones punished I'd expect.

The United States has the highest lifetime rate of bipolar disorder at 4.4%, and India the lowest, with 0.1%.

Bipolar disorder is characterized by cycles of depression and mania, a euphoric, high-energy state that can result in heightened levels of creativity or output as well as erratic or risky behavior. People with bipolar disorder are at high risk of substance abuse and suicide, and treatment includes psychiatric care and medication.

However, fewer than half of people with the disorder were treated by a mental health professional, and only a quarter of those in lower-income countries sought treatment, according to the 11-nation study in the March issue of Archives of General Psychiatry.
