Quanto got himself banned for violating the purpose of the site. The mission of the site is to teach eachother how to trade. Quanto was spreading misinformation and when he was corrected refused to listen and continued to spread misinformation.

Baron made his choice based on the fact that MANY senior members of the forum expressed frustration with his misinformation. I had sponsors of the forum email me privately expressing they didn’t want to talk to him anymore. I just said what EVERYONE was thinking.

I don’t know why you are angry. Is this one of those alt right absolute free speech issues for you? and if you are so upset about it, take it up with Baron.

Everyone was posting positive comments about Alex and Squanto attacks a high level intellect. Months ago Quanto lost me after saying stupid shit to Robert M. I thought, who talks trash to Robert? Elites’s Robert is so kind and patient with beginners and advanced option traders.

I don't know, but I think ET has always been that way. There are other forums which are more friendly, probably more heavily moderated, but with much less talent and mostly frequented by retail traders. I prefer ET.

Keep forgetting @Quantos is off topic but I comment as a fellow amateur.

Instead of mad at posters who pointed out why my approach, reasoning are wrong and pointed me in the right direction, I should be very happy and thankful someone spent their precious time giving me helpful advices. Otherwise, why post?

Cancel culture is someone getting booted off some site for taking a non-consensus view on an ambiguous topic. For example, if I posed on a car forum that Honda Civic is the best care ever made and the locals banned me for "dumb opinions", that would be a version of cancel culture. However, someone being called out for posting useless, misleading crap on topics where the reality/truth/facts are well established (e.g. put-call fucking parity) is not cancel culture, it's getting rid of noise.

As for "accomplished traders", I'll quote myself from another thread, "THIS SHIT IS HARD". Someone who's had longevity in this business deserves to be recognized, maybe with exception of yours truly.
