Considering how much people lie or at best minimize how much they drink the study is probably flawed from that perspective alone. Over the years I have met hundreds of alcoholics and problem drinkers. The way people metabolize alcohol can and does vary widely. I doubt that one or two drinks a week, or even a day would be harmful in any meaningful way to the average person, unless your two drinks a day were like mine which were the equivalent of about a 1/5. LOL. For me a drink would bring disaster, but for most, just a way to relax and enjoy the evening. Pro tip. Do not drink a case of beer and then eat 3 chili dogs. Exploseive doesn't quite define the result.
