Just curious if anyone has actually executed these yet? I downloaded a demo and they appear to offer vanilla FX options on all the major pairs including cross rates. Anywhere from one month to 6 to 9 months out. Spreads are not that bad either compared to options on futures. Just curious. They seem to be the first ones to offer these to the US market.

Interesting. But how did they get approval in the US to allow options on spot forex? It was my understanding the reason no firms allowed it is that they could not get approval from the CFTC. Has Alpari found a way around this? Surely they could not be offering this illegally as they are registered with the NFA now.

Take a look at I K O N global. I know that quite a few firms are using their platform. I think Saxo and IG are open to US clients as well, but don't hold accounts with those firms.

Are you sure about that? As far as I know neither Saxo or IG let us citizens make option trades. They will let you open accounts but you only get access to spot FX, not options. I may be wrong about that. Can you someone confirm?

I don't currently have a Saxo account, but I traded 300-400 option tickets through the account in 2008-2009. I currently have an IG account (inactive) and traded vanilla options there as recently as March 2010.
Yeah I have an account at igmarkets (us citizen) you can trade fx options on most pairs, daily, weekly, quarterly. You can trade NADEX stuff too, fractional value S&P,DOW, oil, etc.
As far as Alpari goes, I tried the FX Bridge demo before alpari put their name on it, it seemed too stiff for me, as compared to TOS.

Alright, thanks guys. I must be behind the times. I never saw when that change went through. Sheesh, you would have thought they would have advertised this better.
