Exactly - the 'official' word from homeless advocates was that during the Reagan years, there was supposedly 5 million homeless. And guess what? But oops - the guy that ran the New York branch or whatever came out later and admitted that the 5M number was just made up to get funding.....

my overall picture crystalizes more and more with each
of these discussions. the republicans are absolutely
shameless in the choice of their methods. be it by a
supreme court decision to get their canditate in place,
be it by setting up a fake news station like fox, be it by
buying in votes from evangelical fundamentalists or be
it by taking a very old video and fabricate some context
to make someone look bad.

it is hypocrisy, but moreover it is a huge bet on the
stupidity of their audience ...

case you have not realised, global warming is undisputed,
the only question is if this is manmade.

Gosh that fake news network gets better ratings than all the others combined. Could it be most Democrats have little to no interest in current events. After all someone is watching "Dancing with the Stars".

It's hard not to get involved after reading some of the previous posts.

I also believe Gore is a loser.

People hated America way before Bush came to office and the reason some hate it is because we are a rich and successful society. And that is because we believe in freedoms, including speech and religion, free market economies and the rule of law.

It was right to take Iraq, and correct to instill democracy in the middle east for the long term even if it is really painful now...

Bush, even with his speech impediment, will be remembered as one of the best presidents this country ever had.

Mark my words....

I mean he already liberated 50 million people from oppresion....wonder if any of the guys bashing him can say something about them to compare....
