I started this thread on August 13, 2006 saying the following:
âI donât know why the American mainstream media wastes so much time covering a bunch of potential democratic presidential candidates for the 2008 US presidential election.
In my opinion, no one will be able to beat Al Gore during the primaries â I am sure that he will be the Democratic Party candidate in 2008.
At this point, it is just a matter of deciding who will be on the ticket with Al Gore.â

SouthAmerica: Since when someoneâs opinion about something that it will happen in the future has become a lie?
I have the right to have my own opinion and it does not make it a lie.
And my opinion about Al Gore running for president in 2008 is as strong as ever.
How it can be a lie at this point since we donât know who will be the official candidate of the Democratic Party until the beginning of next year?
I wish and have a gut feeling that Al Gore will jump into the race â and he will be the run away candidate â and an unbeatable candidate in November of 2008.
But I am not surprised by Jayfordâs reaction because:
Jayford listed above all his credentials on his reply to ratboy â Jayford listed not only all his degrees but he also stated that he is an asshole.
You are the first person that I know that list on his resume that he is an asshole.
Being an asshole is not a good credential for someone to add to his own resume.

1) -Univ of Utah,#1 Cume Laud.
2) - Thunderbird, # 1 on the planet. My MBA.
3) Studies in Cambridge, ENGLAND. Selwyn College.
4) And Economics of Helsiniki.
5) ASSHOLE.
I guess when someone has a degree as an asshole that explains a lot about his way of thinking.

SouthAmerica: I did watch tonight's Democratic debate from St. Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire, just as a curiosity than anything else.
I wonder who will be the best bet for Al Gore to include on his ticket as the vice president when he is chosen to represent the Democratic Party in November of 2008?
One of the possible choices might be Governor Bill Richardson. Right now a Gore/Richardson ticket is looking pretty good and might be a good bet for November of 2008.
Al Gore has to pick someone who will help him pick up a few of the red states â Bill Richardson might help him in that regard. Bill Richardson also would be an asset in helping Al Gore on his major task of repairing the US reputation around the world.

Curiosity? I am curious why Al Gore is out selling his book instead
of getting into the thick of things with the other Democratic candidates.
Maybe he is afraid of Hillary Clinton? I am sure she knows more
about Al Gore than anyone else. Maybe he has been told his time
is over and it is Hillary's time... Dems don't want to lose in 2008...
