Genius, the only question that is still open is whether Al Gore will run. If he does it is irrelevant who else will be on the ticket but my money would be on Wesley Clark.Quote from southamerica:
In my opinion, for all practical purposes the only question that still is open for debate for the 2008 US presidential election is - who will be in the ticket with Al Gore as vice president.

You're truly irony proof, doodoo. Minutes after gleefully posting an article about the ferocious discontent of Europeans towards her Muslim immigrants, you tout a guy as VP who's most noted achievement was leading the military creation of Europe's largest Islamic state.
Oh, I see, it's Al Gore's fault now. So in addition to inventing the internet he also created an Islamic state in Europe. I did not realize he was that good. FWIW I think that war was a mistake but first of all that was Clinton's war, it was perfectly executed and the Europeans got exactly what they deserved. A muslim state in Europe does not bother me a bit, it's not going to affect the US, it's not going to attack Israel. Let it bother "peace-loving" french, british and german hypocrits.
Question. Given your hatred of Muslims, would you have supported Milosevic over Wesley Clark?
No, Milosevic is (was) unelectable, he probably would fail to establish good working relations with president Gore and I am not a one issue voter.
Actually Clark is not my first (or second or third) choice but IMHO he is the best VP candidate to help the ticket (any democratic ticket). Southerner, outsider, intelligent, well-spoken, no voting record to distort (unlike senators), military background - as VP he is flawless.Quote from Pa(b)st Prime:
I wasn't referencing Gore. I was talking about your implied support for Clark on the Demo '08 national ticket.

In my opinion, no one will be able to beat Al Gore during the primaries â I am sure that he will be the Democratic Party candidate in 2008.
