Total delegates needed to win the Democratic Party race: 2,025
As of May 8, 2008
Obama = 1,845
Clinton = 1,686
They still have 5 Democratic Party primaries to go in the next 3 weeks and until a candidate cross the finish line â the race is not over.
The super-delegates should wait until the convention to cast their votes if neither candidate reaches the 2,025 delegates needed for the nomination.
There is no dream team here Barak/Hillary or Clinton/Obama â because in both cases Bill Clinton would be the person that most people would believe it is the real puppeteer.
If you go to a meeting and you have Barack Obama and Bill Clinton on the same room whom you rather listen too â the rookie or the ultimate politician?
The race is not over until a candidate reaches the 2,025 delegates finish line.
