I'm not critical of those who teach and trade. Only those who just teach.

I, like many others have yet to see whether or not Al or now this Ali guy trade. Maybe they do? But why is asking the question not relevant?

My response to you was more rhetorical rather than personal. I'm in agreement that asking questions is relevant - others making authoritative pronouncements and conclusions not based on relevant experience not-so-much.

Al Brook's work isn't the holy grail but it does have content that can improve one's trading if they are unaware of distinctions that he is sharing. His course is peanuts and one can make it back on a single trade by implementing a single distinction/insight that they have not had before.

I personally doubt he trades but if he's just a vendor I find it fascinating the amount of work he's put into creating a whole language around trading. I mean if he just wanted to sell stuff there are easier ways to do it.

I agree: none of his teachings or examples are backed up by any real time trade executions; he has no performance data and in fact is not a trader - he is a book salesman. He speaks here and talks there but never trades.

I have come to understand from a business perspective if a trader is making money trading Al Brooks methods, they are not talking or sharing their results so other traders do not found their edge(s) or secret(s).

Some traders do not help cause they want the trader to spend +10,000 hours and years and suffer losses trying to figure it out on their own.

Rather a trader chooses Al Brook or whomever to teach them, it is best to stay in SIM until they can triple their account balance, in my keep-it-simple-opinion and from a business cost mindset.

But if they are trading using Brooks' method, I don't see how it can be "secret."

Another guy says I'm a professional bowler in fact the league champion! What's your bowling score? I don't have one he responds.

The last guy, Al Brooks, says I am a professional trader and I have my own unique system. What's your performance record? I don't have one he responds.
