On my thread - "Scalping_My Way with ACV" - Page 32 - #318. Was just going to show how to do it - and answer questions.

I have seen Range Conditions last over an Hour. I used to LOSE - when Price went Sideways - now I love seeing Price go Sideways - LOL.

Just shut down the Zoom Room - nobody showed up.

That picture shows the Range Box - CenterLine - Support and Resistance Lines - etc. At the time I took the snapshot - it was still in a Range Condition - based on my Rules - and at that point - it had been approximately an Hour. Besides the RC - there were 3 other trades - based on Support and Resistance. I use the Range Box - mainly for Scalp trades - and there were many trades available.

Traders would be surprised how many Range Conditions that can happen during a trading day. Again - I use a 7 Tick Range Bar - which is relatively fast - so that may not work for some traders.

I do not know how to code. I am a strict discretionary trader and my eyes and a few lines drawn in realtime help me ”see” price action patterns (BOs..triangles…PBs etc) but I also look at the individual bars for an idea of the pressures being exerted. Apart from those two things I pay close attention to the context in which both mentioned above are found as that too is important. Not all triangles will render the same results. Neither will all trends or Ranges. So, what is the context in which a setup based on patterns is taking place? I would have no idea how to code such things nor do I know if it could even be done.

Why don't you do Skype or Zoom? Personally - I don't want to add another format.

By the way - what other format are you talking about?

Just looked at the MES - the Market is Open - just seen a Range Condition. It finally broke out - about 16 minutes later.

Naa, no need for another format, you are more than forthcoming with what you do. Hat's off.
One of your presentations put up on Bitchute or youtube sounds like too much of a pain in the tucas.

Are you concerned about getting hacked or something like that? Zoom is easy - never had a problem - I just send a link to whoever wants in the room.

I have never seen BitChute - I just did a search - see DuckDuckGo mentioned with BitChute - that is good for sure. We do have to be careful these days.

Is it good to scalp forex when we are totally new in trading? Plz explain a bit.
 
I watched the video posted by the original poster and as price unfolded in the video it was a prime example of why I say I like waiting for 20 bars of sideways motion before declaring it a trading range and before using range trading techniques (occasionally I will fudge a bit and start using range trading techniques just before reaching 20 bars). But the better way is to wait for 20 bars. However, there are a few times when the pressures in the individual bars will render me an opportunity to range trade just before 20 bars of sideways motion.

See, it was in a triangle which is BO mode and around 16th bar in the sideways we saw a BO happen therefore it should be traded as a successful BO using BO techniques and a likely measured move from the point of the BO to the PB and extended upward that same distance from PB. The BO had FT or follow through. It was a two legged BO from the triangle.
