IT doesn't work that way. There has been more than enough evidence of the sort you ask for provided here at ET, and elsewhere, I would add. If you are too lazy to hunt it down, that is your own problem...

It is free. Its purpose is to allow people to share and discuss freely any topic under the sun. Who are you to attempt to set rules and limits on that discussion that the owner of the board doesn't impose?

That guy and a few like him that support his views aren't worth replying too. Just put him on ignore because he's developed into a typical trader forum troll via following folks around at ET to reply to their commentary when he knows in fact they have him on their ignore list.

No matter what they request...you cave in and cough up the information...they aren't satisfy. They will never be satisfy because that's the nature of a forum troll.

Something is wrong with him...seriously and anyone can read his posting history to know he wasn't like that. Its like he snap or something and one day woke up like what he is today. I've seen this happen to many others here at ET. Its a strange thing to witness.

Maybe its too much stress recently for him, could be tax season that brings reality to many traders, dramatic change in lifestyle. Further, its obvious he has a personal vendetta with Dbphoenix considering many others are doing exactly what Dbphoenix is doing but that BS guy doesn't troll them nor troll their methods.

I'm actually a little shock that ET management hasn't taken a closer look at this to see what's happening and to determine (verify) the above considering I've seen ET management get involved in the past with others that has done what he's been doing.

Think about this carefully, this method (trendlines, Wyckoff, Auction Market Theory) has been around since the early 1900's...long before we were born. Further, many prior members has shared their trade methods involving such since Elitetrader.com was formed. Therefore, why is the BS guy picking on Dbphoenix for doing exactly what others have been doing about this method and other methods ? The reason why because its personal and has nothing to do with the method.

Folks like that don't really get booted out. Instead, they get warned or temporary banned or they go elsewhere.

Yes, there was a discussion in the feedback thread about decline in traditional trader forums. Forums like ET has maintained its top ranking but not its top quality. I've seen the activity move to twitter and stocktwits when those social formats were born especially for the 1 - 2 sentence crowd. Also, there's an issue with the overall markets. There just aren't as many retail traders like there use to be. That's not a guess...I've talked to a few brokers and read stats about decline in retail trading in magazines as Business Insider, Dukoscopy, Futures Magazine, Bourse Trading Magazine, FX Trader Magazine and others.

The landscape changed dramatically during the 2008 - 2009 financial fiasco even though it was already in a decline for retail traders for a few years prior to that. In addition, there has been increasing fees to be a trader...all of which is taking a toll on small retail traders (traders not properly capitalized)...they just don't have as much time to become profitable in comparison to small retail traders prior to 2008 because the increasing fees have a bigger impact on small retail traders today.

I strongly believe that if fees continue rising...the small retail trader will become extinct leaving only the well capitalized retail trader and more professional retail traders because they'll be the ones that can afford to be a trader.

There's also the traditional forum issue. More trader resources today have their own forums in which I prefer to call it niche forums. Data vendors have their own forums, trader magazines have their own forums, brokers have their own forums, forums specific to a type of trading style and so on that were not there 10 years ago.

So yeah, traders are leaving or participating LESS at traditional forums like ET and posting MORE elsewhere and many of the niche forums are LESS tolerant of trolls.

Which may help to explain the explosive popularity of FX during this time, which has carried its own consequences. TL, for example, became FX and vendor-centric after it was sold, and it's now lucky to get more than two or three posts a day. Traffic runs about three to four people an hour.

I've been on this board over a decade, and I'm very familiar with B1S2, and Romik's posting history, and personalities. This behavior we're seeing from them is nothing like them, especially Romik. Someone who has access to these two very old accounts, is pretending to be them, and trolling to increase traffic at ET. And what's better than attacking DB, and SLA/AMT?
