It's bizzare watching folks cling to untested and frankly very suspect teachings because it fits with their already established view of the markets. Actually its sad.

If anyone truly wants to learn how markets truly work --- get a mentor who is a proven entity in trading. Use altuchers step by step process to find such a person. You need to stop thinking folkd wanting to sell you don't have alternative motives to make their stuff as sellable as posdible.

Wouldn't it be ironic if the very methods some people pay a very modest price for ended up being similar to the very methods you use to trade? I don't know how you trade, I haven't read your journals, but just saying.

No, i never heard of him and have zero interest in anyone who isn't a solidly proven succesful entity

It's easy enough to find real proven people, why do folks keep clinging to these market ghosts made of marketing and advertising???

I've read more than once that unsuccessful traders sometimes have really good ideas... they just aren't skilled enough to exploit those ideas for whatever reasons. So there could be some value in his ideas....

There might be enough there for a diligent struggler to go from totally clueless and bleeding money to being a scratch trader. But I don't believe for a minute that his stuff will have anyone trading for a living when traded as presented in his materials. It would be nice if it did, who wouldn't want to get a personal money machine that works right out of the box for only $99 a month??? I don't think this is because he's holding anything back, I just think he's not a successful trader. To make a living trading I think you'll have to use your creativity to come up with something a little more unique, something slightly different to what's being broadcast to the masses.

We all learn to trade through our own experience, but if one morsel of knowledge that I would gain from Brooks, or you, or anyone else makes me a better trader, then I sure as hell won't call you a crook...especially if you only charge me 300 bucks for ALL of it (sorry surf, I'm not going to buy your advice, you have to give it freely). Seriously, don't you guys know what the real charlatans are charging (not saying they are all charlatans, but the ones that aren't are waaaayyyyyy overpriced).

The thousands of hours I've spent trading, sometimes successfully and other times not, is why I'm defending Brooks. I think your statement is unjustified having not read the material being discussed here... with all due respect.

He also teaches that one must trade within one's personality and that most simply will not succeed. That's like saying you can buy my stuff, but it may not help you. That's not a crook in my book. The guys saying you will succeed by buying their stuff are the one's I'm inclined to think are failed traders, if ever traders at all. And they aren't cheap.:eek:

This is not true since you have massive interest in Vic Niederhoffer and he is certainly not a 'solidly proven successful entity' (blew up at least 3x)

hi traders, after having scanned thru your thread with amazement and bewilderment intertwined; just like to post something different, perhaps, something a little more refreshing
and uplifting for your pleasures and enjoyment.

we can surely attest that there many consistently profitable traders out there, but most are
more interested in talking less and focusing more on what works for each individually, though.

greetings and best wishes to all traders, profitable or not, at this moment. but if you do not give up easily and predetermine what you are willing to give-up, in case the market does not cooperate as you envision; so you would have enough to trade for another session, for another day: you will surely succeed, say, within two short years.

Not that much of a compliment since $300 a day is probably what a Walmart manager makes.

If you want to make millions a year, then maybe he is not the man, i don't know.
