Information made public so far indicates that information given to U.S. operational forces by the Kurds, and described as vital to success of the Bagdadi operation, was given to the U.S. prior to Trump's announcing our pullout from Northern Syria and abandonment of the Kurds. Subsequent to that it appears that Congressional pressure has resulted in rethinking of our troop commitment in Northern Syria. But I ask, if these are correct facts, then doesn't Trump's abandonment of our Kurdish allies appear all the more heinous in light of his personal gloating over, and credit taking for, the Bagdadi operation?
