Sounds like another group of stocks that WSB should get everybody to invest in to kick those shorters' a$$. I mean if they are already at $17 and they are still shorting...

Sure better start the buy restrictions. Airline stocks are just AMC only in the airline industry, falling on hard times because of the pandemic.

American airlines you can avoid, but You can buy strongest airline, I have Singapore airline, French airline, Lufthansa air, Chinese airline .... I have some booking companies like expedia, trip.com, trip advisor, travel zoo, trivago , etc ,,, booking companies will explode post covid.

and you can even buy airports like Bangkok Airport which is most expesive airport in the world by value and profitablity , it's around $20 now, if for some reason it dips to $10-15 you can hit it with size

Singapore Airline is AWESOME!!!

Hey All,

What do you think the risk of bankruptcy is for the airlines? I checked AAL today, and they're at about 17, down from 60 before Corona hit.

Airlines seem like a reasonable buy n' hold play, but if bankruptcy hits...

I did a little analysis of this last year. See link below.

Thanks,
Keith

Stock price is down, but what about market cap. Didn' t they issue a ton of new equity to boost their balance sheet?
