The author is ignorant about several facts involving immunity, N antibodies, nor does he seem aware of the dependent relationship between vaccinated individuals and unvaccinated individuals to develop natural immunity.
Short story...folks with natural immunity...the development of such is directly dependent upon the vaccinated community in their specific community prior to venturing out into other communities.
- Further, he seems to lapse an understanding that Covid is a very evolving virus...one of the most evolving.
So far, Covid has been evolving almost once per month and producing a Variant of Concern about once per 6 months at the last time I checked around the end of January 2022.
At that point in time (end of January 2022)...there were more unvaccinated individuals with reinfections in comparison to vaccinated people with reinfections. On the surface, reinfections may not seem like a big deal but you must wonder about the statistics considering in a highly vaccinated population of a country...the vaccinated people greatly outnumbered the unvaccinated.
Why are their still more unvaccinated people with reinfections versus vaccinated people with reinfections via the raw numbers while both groups wane in their effectiveness ???
Strangely, that's not mentioned by the author. Regardless, one key element that's consistently missed or ignore by the unvaccinated...
Of those in the human population that thinks its healthy are in fact not healthy and they do not know it. That fact alone makes them very vulnerable to Covid (helps it to evolve) and I'm not talking about the elderly.
P.S. This has nothing to do with AIDs unless the author has written about the topics of AIDs.

Follow up about something I forgot to mention...
Super Immunity involves vaccinated people having a breakthrough Covid infection or unvaccinated that had a recent Covid infection (natural immunity) and then get vaccinated.
It's called super immunity because their immune response measured in blood serum revealed antibodies that were equally more abundant and more potent — up to 1000% more potent — than immunity generated by vaccination alone or natural immunity alone.
Thus, to talk about vaccination breakthrough infections without mentioning super immunity...you'll be missing a big piece of the puzzle involving immunity.
That's something that Omicron is able to do that vaccines or natural immunity are not able to do on their own.
Thus, whenever I hear about someone that's vaccinated and had a breakthrough infection or someone that's unvaccinated (recovered from a recent Covid infection) and then get a vaccination...
I see a person with body armor or camouflag to Covid.

It has not been adjusted for Base Rate Fallacy. Most peer review studies have been especially when looking at the statistics in high vaccinated countries.
He's only comparing the raw numbers...huge error to do that and its something his colleagues would have quickly pointed out to him.
