The problem with AI I see is...if we ban it in our country but other countries do not ban it, are we economically worse off?
I think the problem is more The Terminator like. But War Games was a great movie - "shall we play a Game?"I'm only slightly concerned about the slow,insidious effects of AI,taking away jobs once performed by humans,cheating on exams,etc,but I am EXTREMELY concerned if they start thinking about putting our nukes in the hands of an AI bot. I wouldn't want a real-life scenario of the Matthew Broderick movie War Games. That movie scared the crap outta me.
