AHG - Profitable Strategy for Struggling Traders

I'm about 1/2 way through this thread (great information by the way!) and I'm a little confused with the concept of the magic tick. If someone could explain it and/or post a graphic that would be perfect. Thanks in advance!!
 
Okay, is it me or does nobody really want to get a room going? c'mon people, you know this stuff works... whsoe to say we cannot start our own room now since the original test2 AHG room became private. Im sure Antec(author of AHG) wouldnt mind since his original intent was to educate us. This can be his second comming legacy.. lol, trust me, I would start my own MIRC room already if i knew how but i just bearly installed HydraIRC and know how to navigate around the rooms only. However, if anybody is technologically savvy enough, please by all means lets get a AHG room going so the rest of us can contribute and benefit. Hit us back if anyone does this soon otherwise im going to have to take the initiative to find out how to start my own room and let u guys know about it when i can.
 
haha, great, so like dozens of 18 yr old traders verbally expressing their puberty stages...

Well, i want to perfect my trading style on a higher level so i can retire before 40, im currently profitable (1.45 profit factor after comm) but not good enough and was hoping this system can help propel me with shared advice....

At least you get to discuss those things.

I suppose, some of the newbies (including me) would like to diiscuss, whatever the current topic is (May it be AHG, sex, indicators etc.).

If you are to make AHG your method of choice then you would need to:

1. Read it all & understand it;
2. Put in thousands of hours of screen time;
3. Sim trade for a year or so;
4. When you feel you are comfortable start trading 1-2 lots at a time;
5. If you find you are struggling THEN come back here and ask questions.

There is no easy way in :)
 
no, AHG is not my only strategy that im using.. I have few strategies in my arsenal, but AHG is one that i would like to get better at...

For those using Ensignsoftware, there is a new template named 50cci etc.,which clearly mark the pivot. I find the template more helpful than the swing indicator in NT, as it clear shows the swings. Just ignore the ema's and other indicator.

Anek, if possible, let me know if I can join the chatroom.

I have been ill in recent weeks, and miss the info on privatisation of the room.
