Ok you waited patiently for the Grand event (lol guys , when someone feels the urge to insult me, please be my guest, I like to kid, I'm almost 40 but the little rascal in me is very strong and I like it).

Here is my last chart.

All the trades I posted are axactly how I played them and comments about what I was thinking at the moment.
Hope they help you, it takes a lot of time, but they are a great education to improve my trading.

I didn't look at the NQ today, but it seemed the ES was up , up , up. It was such strong momentum, it was hard to wait for a Piscuy signal. I was entering at the signal bar and not waiting for a verification bar...I modified this only because the tape was so strong. Also, I was prepared to exit if I didn't see the verification bar very soon.

I'm almost 40 too, but I really don't pay attention to age and I even forget how old I am sometimes:)

Mark, I was looking at your chart. It looked like you played it good in the morning, but missed out on quick profits.

Now the revenge trades are another story. I do that sometimes too. I guess with discipline we will learn to stop that and look at each trade as a new, seperate entity.

Nice comeback in the afternoon!

Heh yes, i'm still very far from perfection with Piscuey pivots, but going over my trades today gave me a great lesson, If I just erase the revenge trade, and the 2 trades where I didn't take my quick profit and became 2 losses (3rd and last chart) , I'd be up 10 points instead of 1-1.5 points. Think about it people, 3 undisciplined trades made the difference between a good day and a wasted day.

Plus the lack of a second contract to play with, somehow made everything very difficult today

I DON'T WANT TO GIVE THE IMPRESSION THAT 2 OR MORE CONTRACTS IS THE WAY TO GO FOR A NEW TRADER. fIRST LEARN TO BE PROFITABLE FOR SEVERAL MONTHS WITH ONE CONTRACT !
REMEMBER PRESERVATION OF THE CAPITAL IS THE NAME OF THE GAME. DON'T INCREASE YOUR RISK IF YOUDON'T SEE TANGIBLE RESULTS

Was a good experience though

Could someone please help me with this T&S question...

In the image attached... Green is AT ask and Yellow is ABOVE Ask....

The Red arrow points to a trade at Ask (for 2036.50) then the next trade is above ask (for 2036.25)....

I don't understand why a trade is above ask but at a lower price than the previous one that traded AT ask????

Why does this happen?

Thanks for your help!

Do you have T&S filtered? A lot of small trades could have knocked down the price to 2036

I had forgotten that I recently filtered out the 1 car trades .... So I just turned the filter off and replayed this same point in time again.... The attached image shows the 1-car contract between those two but notice it was at 2036.50 (at ask)...

So... same question still remains...

This T&S snapshot is on 11/26 9:33:44AM if anyone cares to compare...

Tough day for me again, but I think I'm slowly learning. Not as fast as some of you though. :) Biggest problem is I get stopped out on noise a LOT. Guess I want to preserve my capital too much. :)

Anyway, check out this article at newsweek on the psychology of decision making. http://www.newsweek.com/id/71514/page/1 I agree with their statement on "maximizers", as I am one...
