Nice little reversal on the ES/AH....

Don't let AH intimidate you, just lower the chart frame to accommodate the low volume and remember that a chart is a chart.

If no real AH exp, watching is free :) Just make sure you got a distraction because it can get slow as molasses.

Yes, thanks for pointing this out earlier. I missed the reversal, but I did a quick Piscuy scalp from 1427-1428. It is slow though.

Looks like there might be a reversal. I'll watch for a 3 bar set-up, or I'll go to bed.

Thanks for the HA explanations!

Got a few questions, if you dont mind, on your method:

1) when you say you build a position, do you mean avging down as long as you're with the trend?

2) N8 has a lot more signal bars than NQ9,10... any reason other than 8 is a larger sample example?

3) for entries, you use limit or mkt orders? seems harder to do limits on faster charts

Piscuy used them for a long time, and kept telling me about them but I never listened to the crazy scalper.

Then I started analyzing them and found gold in this mod.

I posted instructions on how to use them earlier today, these tips did not come with the ELD they were actually the conclusion of Piscuy's hard work and I'm talking years here.

Remember its not just about the color but the size of the plot inside the bar and the position at the edges.

They are a keeper for me. By far the best paintbars I've tried.

for those who use Ninja trader, I was wondering if the following were available on their charts (thinking of changing);

1) HA candles and/or OHLC bars

2) customizable pivot swing low and high markers.

3) variations of the 3 bar reversals posted by Anek, mark and others in the last few days. Thanks in advance. :p
 
Anek...query:

what is the eld that you are using to color the bars blue, red and yellow? I know I read it but cannot find it anywhere.
