Interesting conversation.
I am a self taught Trader of eleven years and if I had my time over again I would make coffee in a wall street trading house for nothing rather than go through my learning curve all over again.... providing the people for whom I made coffee were consistently profitable.
The key to this game lies in clear thinking and its sheer simplicity.
Accumulation is the name of the game.
It took me many years to wake up to this fact, simply because in the begining I unnecessarily complicated my approach and created a mental block for myself.
It is the things that you are unaware that you are unaware of, that do the damage in life.
A skilled 2nd party can reveal this to you and save you many years if you are mentally tough and committed or you can try and figure it out for yourself.
Both approaches can succeed or fail but the success probability lies with the first approach
