Hey Anek,

Check out the Kindle from Amazon

They have a 30 day money back and I already order one just to try it out.

J,

I knew about the Kindle but i think I prefer the Sony one. Hope you enjoy yours. Reading is food for the brain, always yummy.

EDIT:

Just found out the following about the Sony.

PDF files are hard to read because they're reduced to fit the screen and you can't magnify (zoom) them; though diminished, some lag issues remain when flipping pages; no support for Audible audio books.

Maybe it's time for Adobe to wake up and released a killer portable PDF reader :)

So far my #1 choice is the:

Sony VAIO Mini Laptop

I own Toshiba Portege R500 which I found to be much superior to the vaio.

I used to have a 9 inch fujitsu tablet but found it needed to be scrolled to read books.

have fun..

No they are up to date. I customized mine to be 2 gigs and a few more upgrades. . And also you are comparing a thin and light class vaio (14.1 inches) with an ultramobile (12.1 inches.) thats why the vaio has a more powerfull CPU :)

I find 14 inches too big as i like to read my books on the laptop with one hand !

Here is a comparison of the same class:

SS,

The Toshiba has a slower cpu, half the ram, smaller HD and more expensive. Perhaps they are not up to date?

I see what you mean now, these models are even smaller so they are slower than the one I was looking at.

Just found out about this one:
