First trade of the day...

was stuck taking son to school and other mommy deeds as my wife is sick.

Not a bad start.

Well Done Red! Any reason why you cover in the ratio 1:1?

I played your dbl btm as a dragon but I covered half at the dbl btm target seeing some resistance and am now sitting tight on the rest for the final dragon target....wondering if I'm making a mistake not covering more?

Anybody has anything to share about partial covering? Is there any R:R considerations involved? Thanks

red why do you use a 377 share chart as opposed to a 1000 one? on the 1000 it is hard to see a double top but on yours its nice, do u feel you get more moves out of 377, where did you come up with that number?

Darren-

I actually much prefer the larger 1000v or even more. The smaller charts give more wiggles and often false signals. I have more screens then I know what to do with so I often have a 377v as well as 1000v chart. In this case the 377 flashed the dbl top so I couldnt pass it up. As for where I can up with the number...a good friend of mine gave me that chart and it stuck.

As for R:R...I don't pay as much attention to it as some other traders do. Once my stop went to B/E the risk was gone and I play it by feel. Technically, you are right...I just like making money so a profit is a profit.

I like the way you put it... I just like making money too haha... sitting tight and sweating makes me think alot ...maybe sometimes too much.

Dragon closed...or as Anek puts it...ROAR!

Sometimes, but I mostly work on the ER and the ES. I do put my examples here on the NQ since its what most people trade. My approach to the NQ? Im not sure I understand what you mean, but the only fact that I dont like about it is the price of the tick. With the other two with one tick im alredy profitable since its double what commissions cost me. I guess its more a thing of what you like or dislike.
