fwiw I used to get in lots of fights with AKfortyseven/Tony, but it probably had more to do with me being immature in hindsight, i used to take politics alot more personally, i used to fight with Freddy Foresight all the time too, but bottom line is we all think we are "right" with our political views, the older i get the more i try to see other peoples side of the argument.
I dont see Freddy, or Tony as malicious people, they arent just doing this to troll, thats their ideological belief and i got to respect that, even though i probably disagree with 99.99% of what they say they arent just chucking bombs, i used to get rattled with people i disagreed with that much..... now i try to engage them in dialogue, though admittedly im not a saint, and i am more than capable of acting like a horses ass.
The way i look at it is this, on a daily basis im able to sluff off one bad trading idea after another based on the opinion of a half a dozen traders who think differently than me. If im wrong that much in the market, and i can learn from it, theres probably something i can learn from people who dont agree with me politically.
Trading is a great ego breaker! I can promise you there is no Old trader who thinks they are right 100% of the time, except maybe that clown Bill Ackman.
With that said ExGOPer is a bonafide asshole, he has nothing of value to offer. He once called me out as a trader then i showed him a 20k day, then he photo shopped my blotter, and said "oh see i can do the same thing" He is just a complete asshole through and through, the lefties here hated Lucrum, ExGOPer is the exact same type of person. Im not going to waste time on someone like that.
