Age roll call...

WTF, some of you people here trading at 13, 14, 15 years old ??

Where are these guys getting the capital to open and trade these accounts? I mean how do you manage losses and account draw downs at 15. All I can say is these guys must be real sharp and have saved every dime they ever made.

I started with $600 (saved $100 on my own shoveling driveways during the winter and got a $500 loan from my father whom I paid back later that year). Played some big risk/reward (not going to lie, pure luck for the first couple years) and turned it into some 3k. By 17 it was 8k and I was hired by a trading firm to trade futures (internship during the summer and then permanent job when i graduated high school a year later [right now]) So now I go to college during the day, trade eurodollars and treasuries during the night and I swing trade stocks in between.

For all doubters regarding young people trading you just have to look at Mark Fischer.. he started as a clerk when he was 13 at the Comex only to become a hugely successful pit trader whom later started MBF Clearing Corp which is now clearning most of the world's crude contracts. He has an internship program also.

I don't see any difference between starting to play the piano as a kid and trading as a kid.. you have a better chance of learning how it's done properly IMHO. Apart from that, when you're a kid you don't give a crap about money or its value which is fantastic for trading :)

Oh, it was sarcasm? Again, amazed. You possess a razor-sharp wit my friend. Wise beyond your years.

Consider organ-donation as a profession. Seriously gotta go and wrap presents. Merry XMAS to all; you too BNB.

ha ha no worries there Atticus, the guy is a total fool. Pretty much every post from BnB/Doginponyshow has been as a troll...

That\'s all the guy is. A dumb ass troll.

24, following markets daily since I was 19.
I'm the exact opposite of some older folks here, I've been told I'm mentally an old grumpy man. The fact that I have almost no social life is starting to bother a bit, didn't even pay attention to it before.

32, been doing this since I was 17 and started teaching when I was 19. I can remember once when I gave a seminar in Santa Ana, Cal and I was not old enough to rent a car yet, Tony Oz drove me around OC for 4 days.
