Age roll call...

81 damn near 82 next month. Everything in moderation.
Hey Thunder dog. Back off a little on that working out. The injuries come back to haunt you after about 70.
Just an sporatic trader. Short term memory keeps getting worse so I keep it damn simple.
More of a watcher than a doer now a days.

49 big ones.

I still have the physique, strength and endurance of a fit 25-year-old, since I have been working out all of my adult life. Unfortunately, I also have a couple of joints that tell a different story, including a small tear in my right rotator cuff that is on the precipice of requiring surgery.

Two observations:

1. My 40th birthday hit me the hardest. None before that and none since.

2. Where has all the time gone?

Ha Ha --- Waith till 50 my friend!
(50 hit hard,, but it didnt take long to get over it)

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. And I model part-time when I'm not performing neurosurgery outside of RTH. :p

You me and Buckaroo Banzai

'Race Car Driver'

Old Bucky was a hell of a guy!

When I was 18 - 23 years old and lifting heavy (relative to my weight) I'd listen to the "old guys" up in their 40s complain about aches, pains and how they no longer feel pumped after lifting.

I kept hoisting the reps while thinking to myself, "P(an)sies... that'll never happen to me".

Fast forward two decades. Left shoulder is bad and the right is worse. Left knee has issues that'll force replacement in a decade or two. Left elbow hasn't been right for years. Two tosses off the back from same horse couple years ago didn't help anything attached to the spinal cord at all.

Despite everything, will be back in the best shape of my life well before this time 2008. Training wisely will get us old guys there again.

43 is mere days away now

Quote from learner2007:

Hi kids,

I'm 62. I've been trading for 35 years using TA and TA
only. The never ending study that is possible with TA
has kept my mind alert and young. You might think that
I must be a real dunce to be still studying TA after 35
years. Maybe so. But those who, like me, 'eat this stuff up', surely
know that in addition to being fasinating in itself, TA is
a great tool to use in the declining years to keep the
cobwebs from forming upstairs. But I guess the same can
be said for any form of analysis that stimulates the mind.
So if you guys are still trading at 62, I'll still be around too,
buying what you're selling and selling what you're buying!!!

Good trading to you,
learner

62 ... you will need to tell me which month as we are down to the wire here.

I agree with you about studying T&A.
It was T&A you were referring to I imagine, not that boring TA stuff.

regards
