Leftists globally should be rejoicing at the forty billion dollars aid package to Ukraine, if I am understanding how these things work. Taxpayer money goes to companies and other organizations, these organization spend money on goods and services provided by politically connected businesses, these politically connected businesses make political donations either directly, or under the name of a political action committee (PAC). Some of this money goes into political campaigns for the benefit of Leftists, both foreign and domestic. (This post paid for by citizens for transparency in Government)! Grin.

So it seems Leftists hijack the accumulated representation of productivity, money, for increasing their political influence, while producing little tangible economic value in return. Like a virus, I suppose. It is really that hard to predict what happens when the productive are punished for being productive and told what to do by the unproductive? If you said, “I can smell Russia/Soviet Union from here”, you would deserve a cookie. Or a potato, if you prefer.

Former Obama official: Biden’s ‘reckless’ gaffes ‘unnecessarily undermined our standing’ in the world

Former Director of Global Engagement for the Obama White House Brett Bruen declared Tuesday that Joe Biden's "reckless riffs" and foreign policy gaffes "have unnecessarily undermined our standing and irresponsibly handed propaganda points to our adversaries."

In an article published in USA Today, titled "Biden’s careless comments are hurting his presidency and diplomacy. He needs a reset," Bruen took the president and his national security team to task.

"I used to cringe when Vice President Joe Biden took to the podium. Despite all the preparation that went into an event and his remarks, as a staffer on the National Security Council, you never quite knew what he might say," he wrote.
