Ag trade ideas

Haha yeah you definitely missed out on some big moves. I scalped soybeans for a few days before all the big moves, but wasn't able to watch any while the crazy moves were happening. Granted that might have been a good thing though.

I just closed out the rest of the wheat fly. I had an order sitting out there at 5 that got hit. For some reason I was thinking it was set at 6, so I was quite excited when I saw it had hit, but nonetheless I am pleased with 5 and that was a nice profit overall. I entered at 2 even and got out of the first half at 4 and the rest at 5.

AGAIN, thanks for a good suggestion @TraDaToR .

I entered the KC wheat spread @ 7.5 yesterday. I have been following the feeder cattle spread I mentioned, but haven't entered. It has dropped a bit since the other day.

What about a long Sep Milling Wheat / Short Sep SRW right now? SRW value is now higher than Milling on a $/Bushel basis. Milling has more proteins ,SRW harvest is almost complete while Milling may still suffer from drought ...
