After-hour execution

I trade with IB, and placed limit order during after-hours. TWS chart shows that a huge spike within 1 minute went across the order, but the order is not executed. Does anyone have ideas what might be the reason? Data error, routing method, regulation, or exchange problem?

Limit order of what? Futures, stock? Spy?


Spy always has abnormal spikes after hours, sometimes in the morning too.

I think those spikes are crosses and they might even be out of sequence (ie. they were actually traded much earlier in the day).

Your order (assuming it would have traded on that spike) would not be eligible to execute on it.
