I know we have seen the market recovering very often before the close over the last 1-2 years, but has anyone been monitoring if this has been happening also on days where there was very specific negative news (e.g. today)?
After bad news & big dip, chances of recovery before end-of-day?

I am asking for what has happened historically in such situations, and I'm not sure what you are telling me...
It rarely fully recovers the same day unless positive news comes out later on... but as Jokepie has pointed out it may well recover in the next few days or even overnight.
