Schiff has proven himself time and again to be a radical left conspiracy theorist on all things regarding Trump. His opinions are about as relevant as those of a Maxine Waters or Luis Gutierrez. Their bias runs so deep, along with the radical leftism displayed over and over again just relegates them into the never to be taken seriously category.
You're take on gop obstruction of Democrats' counter memo? What about Nunes running to Trump last time he had "dirt"? Is he credible being the sole author of this memo?

The Dems counter memo should and will be released. The memo is being vetted, just like the Nunes memo was vetted.
The committee issued a report based on majority vote. When you start issuing reports and counter-reports in a way that appears to be attempting to try the case in public based on classified information then WE ARE ABOUT AS FAR INTO NEEDING AN INDEPENDENT COUNSEL AS WE CAN BE.
But I think it is too late now. I don't want to start some long slog that takes everything offline and into the dark for another year. The FBI had its chance to release stuff to the committee in an orderly way and they chose to be difficult so now the committee does not trust them. So frig em. The dems resisted getting the info from the FBI and that shit dragged on for over a year. So frig it. Let the whole thing blow wide open in public.
Instead of getting a prosecutor, just start declassifying more of the back up information supporting the memo and let the public decide and the fbi deal with the blows as they come. And if Trump takes hits. Fine. Lets go. Rosenstein played the long game thinking that he would be able to deep six everything because he has done it so many times before but it blew up on it. My take is there should be no republican or democratic version of anything. There is the memo, just one memo. Release the entire thing, declassified and let the chips fall where they may. The FBI and Justice department needs to be held to account for their bad apples. No organization is perfect, but too many provide cover for the bums. Root them all out. The experience will not be painless for anyone regardless of party affiliation, but it is necessary. The public, at least the sensible public, has lost all trust in this criminally corrupt government.
Probably premature to reach the "shady and illegal" conclusion . Lets wait until we see the memo and give the other side a chance to respond. All we have so far is accusation and counter accusation from biased sources and innuendo without access to any of the material evidence. I'd like to hear from all parties before making up my mind. We are going to be faced with facts and alternative facts, but which is which? So far we have neither facts nor the alternative facts, let alone both. I am a little dismayed, however, over Nunes's behavior, it seems not to be in keeping with an independent investigation. Otherwise we have little distinction between the investigated and the investigator; hardly a situation likely to produce truth.
