I did indeed have to hedge around many of my ES puts as they were ITM with the market tanking.
As I traded around it, I kept it small in size. I was able to call several of the moves up and down.
When the profits increased, I finally let all the hedges go at the bottom. I was willing to risk all the previous profits. And I added more on the way up.
I could have been wrong on the final bottom. Unlike previous years, I was not too early on buying the bottom and not too early in selling the bounce.
