please advise platform to backtest system.
i'd like to test my system on futures. So i need platform with possibility to take data for many years.
i knew Metastock, Tradestation, Omega.
Backtesting is in most cases useless. Omega? Oh boy! This is something like 10 year old story. I think this is the company that developed that cranky TS2000i and later changed its name to Tradestation technologies. Metastock? Reliability issues there. Check out this thread
