Advise on buying new computer for trading only

I am in the process of buying a new desktop and monitor for trading. I already have a 17 LCD monitor, and a laptop for emails and market research.

Any suggestions would be great. Budget >600
 
I am in the process of buying a car for traveling. Please advice me what kind should I buy. I already have a garage and a bicycle for shorter distances...

Budget is > 20K

Unless you tell us what kind of trading you plan to do, your question is too generic, just like when I need a car for transportation.

If you do long term position trading any computer from 1998 would do just fine, if you get my drift...

I am with Pekelo on this one. His post and words were exactly what I had in mind when I read the opening.
