Advice to new a trader

...

Oh yeah, avoid Interactive Brokers like the plague. It's sub-garbage. Their code is all Java shit from the 90's. Last time I checked they turn off their servers in the middle of the trading session (around midnight) every day and they've been doing that for 20+ years as if that's a perfectly normal thing to do. No, it's because their system is Java shit from the 90's. You gotta understand that they're supposedly a multi-billion dollar company but yet they don't even have a single server colocated at CME Aurora. That's how insanely sub-garbage they are.

I get the feeling you have not told us how you TRULY feel about IB.

C'Mon, let it out!

Just proved to you, gamma does NOT fall when vol rises. In theory it does, but in reality it doesn't otherwise how do you explain the rising extrinsic value?? When vol drops, theta takes over (and that's another topic that I am not wasting any more of my time and energy to explain to you bonehead) and gamma does not increase either as gamma is highest only when options are ATM and actually approaches zero also the more OTM an option is. Gamma is also zero when an option's delta is 0 not just when it's 1.

Yeah you are full of shit. I just proved it to your face with a real example and now you can't take it. You can't admit that you know shit. EXACTLY as I thought, you've got nothing to offer but is just here to troll your life is shit.

I did already but you two lowlifes decided to egg me on with your pathetic sarcastic remarks even when I am posting on different threads so I decided to prove the matter once and for all to shut the two of you shitheads up! Now that I have, I am putting the two of you, you and @newwurldmn on "Ignore" since you two have shit to offer and I am not wasting my time and energy on shit. Lord knows I have already wasted too much.

Good riddance!!

Destreios aka todd reminds me of an snake oil salesman. They do all these fancy talk and shit and try to impress the common folks…but real trader like u and me can see the diarrhea that spew out of his mouth. Becareful dealing with him…cause there are groupies in this forum that worship him.

I put the clown on "Ignore" already. Really don't want to deal with his garbage anymore. ET instantly became a better place after I put him on "Ignore". LOL That is exactly my feeling when I read his posts. He knows that a large number of us don't have experience trading in options or are not even that familiar with options and yet he deliberately uses terms that he knows we wouldn't understand or have trouble understanding and he even makes up terms that we don't even see in our trading. Who's he trying to impress here? LOL

I met some of the posters already who instantly came to his defense when I disagreed with him. LOL They are not too bad so far I find. They are entitled to their opinion as I am entitled to mine. As long as they don't bother me too much, I am fine with them. Thanks for the warning.

Good trading! :)

Don’t step into live trading without a strategy! New traders are eager to make money, but this desperation could lead to losses. Create a plan and strategy and rehearse it on a demo account multiple times before stepping into a live account.

Use demo account until you're confident enough to go for the live one and should incorporate regular learning and practice of technical aspects in trading.

Many newbies feel like they’re missing out and join the market without a goal. This is where they start to fail, right at the beginning. Research and learning is the first step, get familiar with the market terminology and nature. Then, plan your moves.

After learning the fundamentals of Forex, you can trade. Analyze the market on a daily basis and practice on a demo account to become acquainted with the platform's technicalities.

Hey everyone! I'm new to trading and learning yet. Any tips on what to avoid while trading and how to stay focused are welcome from all of you:)
