Advice to all newbies

I foolishly played football in high school and was lifting and never had the injury treated and one fine day My sciatic nerve gave out on me that I had to have a back surgery a microdisectomy to fix the impinging disc then pretty much the day it was healed I was t-boned and the door kind of caved and hit my back and so then I staggered around on pain pills for about a year and a half before the market making firm I was working for laid me off and then I had to have a lumbar fusion and then I just loaf about for a couple years until my savings ran out and then I finally figured out how to make my system work and that was in October of 2020. I also had two artificial disc replacements in my neck. This latest bout of pain was caused by the sciatic nerve getting pinched again from too much sex I think
Okie dokie.

Some of you must be really bored in order to reply to this crap.

I am definitely not.

By posting....you did. But heh, markets are closed, I don't play golf and can't ride a bike any more.

you think anybody read this? seriously

You did.

that is not my quote

a trend does not die, it fades away gradually and, before it's death it gets the most power and, if the trader is not aware of this, then he will think, the trend is in force.

a trend loses strength very gradually; if you do not know what stage it is, you do not know how much of it is still left, and, if you do not know that, then it is foolish to even attempt anything else, like buying or selling.

to calculate RR and probability, you need to know where the trend is in it's life cycle.if not your calculations are erroneous...

When markets topping, normally have different chart patterns than bottoming. Ends of trend at highs are more abrupt, often has right shoulder. Bottoming are different whether forming few right shoulders or another sharp move down to return back up sharply then sideways. But tops and bottoms seldom is same.

I read couple of Brooks books, horrible writer. I like John Hills material better.

I am sure all ET posters have full commercial-grade gyms with a team of personal trainers on staff, in their mansions and on their yachts, but get yourself a simple pair of clubs and kettlebells and start training with them. If you do it correctly it will put your back and the rest of posterior chain back into alignment and strengthen it to where you might not need surgery.

Once you let the surgeons do this to you it's pretty much over.

So @Drawdown Addict is saying he doesn't need to be bored to reply to this crap. What's the irony? It's a clumsy statement because he's saying that while all of you have to be bored to find time to reply to this crap. He on the other hand does not have to be bored which implies he enjoys replying to this crap.

I think at first glance it sounds like he's saying he's definitely too busy to reply to this crap but ironically is replying to it. Thus, if he knew the irony he would be lamenting in it with his comment. If he did not know the irony then calling out the irony would be prudent.
Well, if you would stop regurgitating that same old crap about EW, we wouldn't need to be bored or let alone reply to it. Ever thought about that? But whatever. Carry on with your newfound discovery of irony.

But he drives an 08 lambo so obviously Elliot wave is the only thing worth knowing...
