Really? OT, but 1 question... the guitar avatar(?)... you only play for you? Naaa. I don't buy what your saying. You're social, or you never would have picked it up. You just march to your own beat that's all. Nothing wrong with choosing your own path and sharing it in a different way.

Actually, my parents bought me a cheapo guitar when I was a teenager. Picked it up on my own. And yes, I am pretty antisocial. Kids made a lot of fun of me as I grew up poor and the clothes showed it. As a family we never went out to eat (never!), no movies, no vacations ever. And thus, no peer pressure. Stayed to myself, period.

Here is how it works: are you doing well in school? Some jerk off will conspire to get you expelled or at least in trouble. My first high school was one of the first to have metal detectors. It's very difficult to get back into a teacher's good graces once you're suspended. Guess what happens to those good grades. This is especially bad if you are good looking and the girls like you. Imagine being a good looking guy, girls like you and you do well in school. You are an active, not passive, target.
How about you have a nice job? Some boisterous punks might show up at your work looking for you which will end up in you getting fired.
Then repeat the same for your own family.
Wrong side of the tracks means you're surrounded by people actively trying to hurt your chances of making it out. Including your own family.
