Advice anyone....

Just added another video card to my pc (4 total). The video card is installed and working, the monitor is installed and working, yet I can't get anything to show up on the screen. It's just a blank, black screen. I can see that the video card and monitor are installed because when I check the installed devices through the control panel, it lists all my attached devices.

But when I check the settings tab under "display properties", it only shows 3 monitors instead of 4. I know there must be a simple solution, I just can't figure it out. I'm running win XP. Maybe it can only handle 3 monitors? Help anyone.

I'm probably extending my understanding here, but it sounds like your video card is NOT installed and working if it only shows 3 monitors.

Is your new card the same as one of your others (so you don't need an additional driver)?
